Long Arm Lizzy specializes in custom quilting, finishing, and binding for your piece work tops and custom bedspreads. My creativity and technical knowledge of the Statler Stitcher enables me to produce xtraordinary results in a minimal amount of time.
My rate is $30.00 per hour. There is a $50.00 charge for rush orders. As the quilting pattern increases in complexity and size the labor hours increase.
All custom quilting needs to be reviewed and discussed with me for a time estimate. If you are unable to visit my studio then please submit a picture, if possible, along with the size and any ideas you may have. I can then call you to further discuss the details. When necessary, I will work up a sample of the stitch and send or e mail it to you.
I stock over 60 bolts of 108” quilt backing material.
Please make sure that if you provide me with backing and/or batting that the size is 6” wider in width and length.
All quilts need to be squared, seams should be secure and ironed, and any loose threads should be removed. There will be a charge (hourly rate rounded to the quarter hour) for any repairs needed to prepare the top for quilting.
Any quilts that are mailed need to be sent in a plastic bag and insured. Completed quilts will be returned in the same manner. I will provide you with the shipping and insurance costs when the quilt is completed and the charges are totaled.
I currently have a 4 to 6 week turn around.
Any quilts mailed or delivered to me within the State of California are subjected to 7.75% sales tax.
